Title: A Seat in the Wilderness; The Dining Room and I Didn’t See Myself Leave This Place

Cherish Marrington, a recent art graduate and now studying theatre production at ECU, has created a fascinating series of small works for Safe Keeping. Using the Coolgardie safe from the Trust property Tranby (Peninsular Farm), and working with objects loaned from the Army Museum of WA, Cherish has provided visitors with a poetic narrative of war time family life which can be viewed across the exhibition space through a Battery Command Periscope!
